Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved the whole experience!!! Superfun family day out. Kenny was amazing and explained the games really well. His colleague (didn't catch his name) was also really friendly and recommended a pub for lunch for afterwards. Paint grenades, paint splatters, orange smoke and a few bruises later.

An encounter with the guy with "Rusty" on his jersey has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I took my daughter, son and his mate to the Bere Regis site. Unfortunately we forgot the disclaimer forms but, luckily, there were more forms at their sign in counter. I took three and filled them out as required. "Rusty" then approached me to inform me that he required payment of £3 because i had left my own forms at home and that to use their own replacements were £1 each!! Obviously i assumed he was joking so i smiled and returned them to him. To my astonishment he was deadly serious!! Backed into a corner, I begrudgingly gave up my £3 pounds. "Rusty" can only be described as a spectacularly small-minded and petty individual. Needless to say i will NOT be promoting Dorset Paintball as a place to visit. I left extremely unhappy. I dare say that "Rusty" is pleased with his ill-gotten £3 and happy that teaching people a lesson and exerting some kind of misplaced authority over customers is all in a days work in his military fantasy land.

Fantastic day out, absolutely loved it. Staff were really friendly and helpful, great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. For a first-time experience, I am already hooked and will definitely be making this a regular thing.

We had a fabulous time. Booked for my sons 10th birthday party. We took 6 kids and my husband and I joined in too. We did low impact paintball. It was safe, well organised and really well managed. All the kids loved it and the grown ups too. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks
my son said "the best birthday part hes ever had!"

We had an amazing morning paintballing. Staff were brilliant and friendly (special thanks to PJ, Tony and Sam you guys were great and a right laugh). Only down side was the face masks got very hot and steamed up really quickly. I few people have complained about the gravel track to the venue, I have no issues with the track and I have a very low car, if you go slowly then there is no problems. We are already planning are return visit! See you all soon.

Had such a awesome day today celebrating my birthday with friends and family I play paintball alot hence choosing this activity and couldn't wish for more staff were great friendly and approachable.
The game fields were mixed and varied and fun to play.
I previously played at another site and got told that I would have to buy a minimum of 800 paintballs or it wouldn't be worth my time at a cost of eight pounds per hundred with no deals offered. At skirmish I had varied and excellent value for money deals starting with the standard cost being six pounds per hundred balls. If you are looking for a great day out then try for yourself and plan ahead it's a treat worth paying a little extra for 💯%

Before I booked I did look down the reviews which were not good , however we did decide to go as the site is not far and I’m so glad we did . The game were very varied and the marshals did a great job with the group . The track down to the site was nothing like what was described on one of the reviews and was ok . I own a lotus europa which had no problems with the surface . The previous guy was probably driving his mums car 😀. Staff were polite and helpful especially when it comes to safety. Would totally recommend skirmish Dorset for a fun day . Will be back next week fellas see you on Saturday

Visited here with a group of friends this weekend, we had the stag package including 100 balls which weren’t given to us until the end of the 5 games! The first rip off! Which meant we had to buy more paintballs for every game, I decided to buy 200 at the cost of £12 to which the owner a chap with bad long blonde (bleached) hair whom I presume was the manager/owner who thought he was the coolest guy in the planet because he worked at a paintball place in his mid forties (quick note that doesn’t make you cool) decided to tell me I was a cheapskate for not buying the £25 package and the gun upgrade? When I explained I didn’t need that many paintballs and it was a waste he just threw expletives at me, very intelligent !

The day carried on to get worse witnessing him be rude to all of the other groups there for no apparent reason, I’m not sure if the brand skirmish are aware of the lack of professionalism from this manager but they will be know as I’ve Messaged them as well.

In this day and age with social media we all need to be at the top of our game and that includes even the self righteous mid forties managers of a paintball place!

In conclusion massive rip off, poor guns, terrible toilets with no soap (pretty sure that doesn’t meet health regulations!) burgers served that are so cheap our entire group had stomach ache and a track you have to drive up that if you don’t have a 4x4 you’ll be going to your nearest garage for a new sump!

Avoid at all costs!

Thank you for your comments. We take these very seriously. I would like to say that we will only be commenting on the latter of this email, as we feel that your comments about a member of our staff are a personal attack towards his appearence. I do however apologise if you think our manger was in any way rude to you and I will pass these comments on. I would also like to point out that most of your concerns have been answered in your friends comments. But for the ones that haven't been answered: Toilets: We have a company called Abbas Cabins (which you can goggle and ask questions) they clean them every week. Above the sink we have a gel dispensers which is what is provided in most chemical toilets instead of a water. If you needed water, the marshal that gave you the safety brief would of told you that in the back of the barn there are water containers you can use. Our track is no problems, as long as you drive at 10mph like the signs say. We have coaches and mini buses turning up all the time with schools groups that have had no issues.

dirty environment, scratched visors which kept fogging up - did not deliver package paid for via UK Paintball agent - did not provide the 400 paintballs paid for. hoppers were filled using a small cup- spoke to owner Rusty who didn't care that they hadn't delivered the package for advertised by agent, kids wanted to use the fort which was refused by Marshall because bullets wouldn't reach the tower on the fort but this was promoted by the package for Junior paintball - owner didn't care and agreed with Marshall. Owner very rude and not interested. Money driven.

That little cup holds just over 100 paintballs. I know this as I have counted them in myself. We have 12 games zones and The Fort is a large adult game field that is not suitable for low impact paintball which your children were playing. You booked through an agency so maybe you need to discus their packages with them with regards to promoting The Fort as a junior game, which it is not. We run low impact games every weekend for children and we know what game fields are best and safest for them to play in.
