Stunning views and something you wont see anywhere else. The parish council are hoping to have the center eye (ball) re sited after vandals un hinged it and sent it down the hill...

This is part of the 'Pennine Lancashire PANOPTICONS Trail' and well worth a visit but only as part of another activity since it won't take you long to view the Tele Tubbie Home. The Atom enhances the enjoyment of the view although someone has removed the central ball. Nonetheless you will be impressed by this shelter/eye on the world. Need... More

Worth the walk up from Wycoller, you can see all the surrounding countryside from the atom on a clear day.

Many beautiful walks round here and historic properties. Dog friendly and toilets and car parking nearby. Beware of theft from your vehicle.

Visited with a disabled friend. Lovely views, unusual structure. Very interesting tho. One of four panopticon's in the area. It would have been nice if the path was Tarmac covered as my friend was unable to negotiate the path. But nice place nonetheless.

I wasn't aware of the panopticon wnile looking for a place to park to walk down to Wycoller. It was really lovely, the views from it and incluidng it were lovely, the kids enjoyed it too. The car park etc would benefit from better signage and a map :)

Great views and a quick walk down to wycoller . Be careful with your car and always put valuables in the boot as the car park has a bad reputation for theft

It is interesting to look at but once you've seen it, you've seen it. It's nothing much added to the countryside. I guess it's more of an achievement to see the panopticons around the area.
