Such a lovely place to re-charge the batteries whilst you stroll around the various paths and soak up the stunning views. I would definitely like to return during the autumn to see the colours and during spring when the rhododendron's and azaleas and flowering. The...More

Definitely worth a visit! There's so much land to cover with a variety of trees and flowers and beautiful lake with a boathouse. There is one cafe at the entrance but nothing once you enter so make sure you grab a drink etc. beforehand. We...More

A fabulous collection of trees and flowering shrubs, the best time of year to see the flowering shrubs is in late spring. The blue bells are also outstanding at that time of year, some of the best we have seen anywhere in the country. the...More

This unassuming place is a haven in the Surrey countryside, Near Godalming, it offers gently weaving paths through beautiful trees, chirruping birds and fluttering butterflies. On a sunny summer's day, it is calming and scenic: great views across the gentle undulations from the viewing platform...More

The paths are in need of maintenance, not for the infirm and certainly not easy for pushchair or mobility scooters. Asked at the desk if there was anything of special interest,to be told no,it's past,I came thinking we would see majestic unusual trees. The boathouse...More

We've been to Winkworth Arboretum 3 times (twice in Spring, once in Autumn) and it's a definite family favourite. In Spring, the azaleas and bluebells are spectacular, while the trees are a kaleidoscope of colours come Autumn time. There are several different areas to explore...More

Spent a lovely afternoon here in February. Great place to stroll around and see what is in flower. Staff very helpful and direct you to the location of what is in bloom. Challenging for those who have difficulty with mobility.

That's a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" question, without a reference to the speed of walking. I remember it as about 500m, so less than 5 minutes walking for me walking quickly or 10 minutes at a dawdle looking... More
