Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A small but interesting exhibition, Unless you watch the TV program reviewing the series then you'll only need about 15-30 mins to see it all. £3 entry for adults

Really good this is
Lots of info and actual props and items off the show and a very comprehensive chronology of the program right from the start in the early ‘70s
Really enjoyable and can easy spend an hour or even two in there
Nice little selection of gifts too
Will return

Great museum, yes it is small but there is so much information there. Shame that nobody told us that Norah Batty's house was next door. Well worth the £3 admission.

We planned our tour of Yorkshire to make sure we arrived at Holmfirth when the exhibitions is advertised as open but to our disappointment it was closed all day (Monday 18th September) very very annoyed but we spent our money on gifts in Sids Cafe instead.

I had to give this a four star simply because I can see that if you're a big fan of LOTSW then you'd love all the nerdy info that's available. Unfortunately I'm not that interested - only went because my husband is a big fan - and apart from the video on loop I thought it was really boring. Moral of the story: if you love LOTSW you'll love it. If not then wait outside!

Cost £3 each to get in (two adults). So much memorabilia from the show. Really enjoyed reading all the informative boards scattered around. It was great to see the clothing from the cast. Right next door to Nora Batty’s house too which was excellent. If your a fan, this is a must. So many gifts to buy. Highly recommend.

Watching the film of the series and finding out all the history. To have all the history of the show in one place and access to memorabilia .It’s close proximity to Nora’s house is also helpful.

This is such a great exhibition for Last of the Summer wine fans. Took my mum who is a big fan of the original cast shows. Lovely seeing the props, great memories of the episodes. Loved that it was in 'Compo's house. Fantastic photos, videos about the shows, the cast commentary and info about the theme tune etc.
