Paid the £2.50 entry fee and smiled and laughed for the next 30 mins or so as we navigated our way round the exhibition.
Lovely to see the props from some of the shows and great to see the list of actors / actresses that have appeared in the show.
We loved it and there is a nice gift shop too for anyone who loved the show

Back yet again to savour the humour.

Love this exhibition. I have to be forcefully dragged away from watching the outtakes continually running on the monitor. Nostalgic & a must for devotees. Will be back to spend another £2.50 for my entry to a comical world.

Pure nostalgia
Jul 2021
Highlight of our Last of The Summer Wine trip away. Although having a slightly run down/amateur feel, it is full of the obvious passion for the programme, it's history and the characters we all grew to love. If you have even a passing interest, i'd recommend a visit if you are in the area. Pure nostalgia for cosy Sunday evenings with the family.

Enjoyable exhibition about this long running series
Jun 2021 • Couples
This is an enjoyable retrospective exhibition for the long running Last of the Summer Wine tv show located in the building used as Compo’s cottage in the series. The exhibition is cheap to enter at only £2.50 each - it is interesting to see the props from the series and read the display boards. There is also a video playing with interviews with the actors and crew which goes on for about 45 minutes. If you look at everything, you’ll be in there well over an hour but realistically, if you just skim read everything, it will only take you 10 minutes. Some of the information boards do feel like they could do with a revamp and the whole place, presumably as it’s a very old cottage, feels like it could do with a dehumidifier or two running, as it seems very damp.

We definitely enjoyed it as fans of the show, but it definitely helps to have a knowledge of the programme, plot and cast to get the best out of it.

Excellent Exhibition

We visited the exhibition during a stay in holmfirth and at £2.50 it is a bargain. Covid rules and regulations adhered too and friendly staff. Great memoirs of a great series with lots of clips, photos and memorabilia. Friendly staff, centrally located right under the wrinkled stocking tea room and good little gift shop. Definitely worth a visit for a few laughs!
