Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staffs at club house was efficient. Course was generally easier for new golfers as the ground was flat. Front 9 holes has more water hazards. Has alot of tall grasses though and sometimes it was difficult to retrieve ball. Buggy used was relatively new. Weather was pleasantly cool and windy in the morning. Caddy 42 and 15 was very good.

Although it is the dry season here the course is in very good shape, with nice fairways and good greens. It was well organized (not too many people) and caddies were, as usual, friendly. The course is quite challenging and you'll need some good course management. Special price this week at 2,000 Baht including cart and caddie. Nice panoramic views of the Khao yai National Park.

Very nice golf facility that right now Is undergoing a huge bunch of work. Fairways all sanded, excavators clearing debris and much more. Good news is the prices are down but expect some challenges finding grass to place your ball on in the fairways.

A very playable but not outstanding course. It is relatively short compared to major courses in Bangkok. It is unfortunate that broad leaves ‘cow grass’ have invaded greens’ edges & most fairways. The club house is pretty & staff welcoming.

The course is pretty challenging for the average golfer but can provide a rewarding game if you give a little bit more attention to little issues like wind direction & the hidden corners & blind spots. The green is pretty challenging & can give you more than the average 2 putts if not careful. Better listen to the caddies who would know local conditions better than the visiting golfers. Overall, am happy with my game there on 23 Jan 2018.
Now, a word about the management running the golf course. We have booked 4 flights (16 players) way in advance before we left Singapore. When we arrived at the course, there were not enough buggies and not enough caddies. We were made to wait for half an hour before the first flight could tee off. The last flight had to wait further as the management could not find another buggy nor another caddy for player # 16. In the end, players # 15 & 16 have to share one buggy and one caddy. Nobody from the management came to speak to us; everything was left to the ground staff who were, incidentally, very helpful and supportive. I think this speak obviously about the state of the management.
Overall, however, we all enjoyed ourselves and I will still recommend KiriMaya to anyone who has not been to Khao yai to play golf.

The resort looks nice but if you have only 1 game in Khao Yai, you wouldn't want to spend 3 hours on a journey that would give you a course considered bad in Thailand standards.
There is some maintenance on the course as we could see the roughs were cut. The fairways for the first few holes are bad. Really bad. Thick sands were put in place to repair the fairways as according to Caddie, a major flood happened in Jan and fairway repairs are currently underway.
In another way, assuming if the fairways were in great condition, I am not impressed by the layout too as it is just like any jungle course we would have back in South East Asia.
Another golf course to avoid in Khao Yai as it seems 2 out of 3 courses (Mountain Creek are as bad too with rough not maintained). Stick to BKK, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin or Pattaya if the only agenda is to play golf!

It is really a reasonable price there, it was 40 usd during the weekdays.
Problems:
There is no one on the week and still force you to use golf cart...
conditions of the course is just average , I would even say a bit poor comparing with Thailand standard.
Greens are too slow (6)
Definitely good to play for a practice round

It is a well designed course but I am disappointed that the cow grass has crept into the course and if the green keepers allow this to go on, the course will end up with the more dominant local strain.
Caddies should be taught the basic "golfers English". My caddie was speaking more Thai than English to me.
The intimate disappointment after the game is when you hit the showers. I had to move from one shower cubicle to another because most holes in the shower heads are clogged up and I could not get a proper spray.
I am sure the management can do better by replacing the shower heads if they are charging that kind of green fees.

A beautifully laid out golf course meandering through the Kirimaya estate.
Unfortunately when we were there the course was in poor condition - the fairways were muddy and the extensive bunkers were completely washed out - the course deserves better & I hope will be restored to its former standard.

I have been bow travelling in Thailand and visited maybe 50 now and this golf club as they pretend to be top 5 star they are just over price for the service. I have been reserving the special offer with complementary golf green fee but on the top needed to pay 2000 thb for caddy and golf car. Expensive especially the price on this season. No english no distance no service. Never again. I gave 500 thb for tips and ask them for cleaning of club but the caddy say no. End of story.
