Church is located 30-minutes drive from Fussen or Neuschwanstein. Believe it is hard to reach without car because the church is in the middle of nowhere. Big paid parking.
It is absolutely not possible to make a visit of the church during the church service....More
Took a detour to see this church and it was worth the effort. It is in a beautiful setting in an Alpine valley. The interior is very elaborately decorated in Rococo style and is very colourful. It was very busy but definitely worth seeing.

Like a few others, I too had rented a car for the sole purpose of being able to take side trips like this during our planned stops (In this case our drive from Fussen to Salzburg). With that said, I do believe that there is a bus that you can catch from Fussen that will take you here. Perhaps looking into this will assist you in your search.
Best of luck!
