The shop has an excellent stock of gooddies, prices reasonable. Difficult to find, the picture on trip advisor Is wrong!!!! The tour Is in one room only,not worth a detour. The shop Is!

/This is one of the most picturesque places we have ever seen. We only had an hour or two to spend here so we'd walked about the narrow cobblestone streets. What an absolutely delightful little town with traditional German timbered houses.

Well worth the trip. Lots to see lots to do. The castle is very nice. Lots of different markets and places to eat. We been their twice and will be going back with family when they visit. You will not regret the trip.

There is no transit from Verviers to Monschau. Driving, cycling or walking are the only ways.

No, only buses (it's way down in a valley, not train accessible). The only buses I've seen are operated by DB Bahn so if you go to their website you can get a schedule. The Monschau bus stop is called: Parkhaus/Schmiede... More
