you should go there as it is not far from the local cafes and the shops of the old port-you will get to see everything at a different angle-try it!

Not much to see there, except some nice views from the windows, towards the sea or at the town. Crossing the wall and getting to the fortress might get dangerous when the waves are high...

Much more impressive fortresses on other Greek Islands especially Crete, It's only interesrt is its old age. Fortunately, restaurants close-by and some of the taverns are close-by to increase the visit's interes.

This old castle is located directly in front of the old harbour. It is kinda small and only the way to it is exciting. You have to go via a small harbour wall which, when windy, gets hit by waves and poses the risk of getting...More

The fort itself is nice to look at from the outside and provides good views of the harbour. However that’s where the positives end. The fort is only accessible via a walkway which is also a sea wall, as such if the water is slightly...More

Visit at night, and enjoy seeing Naoussa from the sea! It can be a bit tricky if the wind is blowing and you might get wet.

A little walk on a stone wall to get to the Fort... amazing to stand inside it and look out all the windows...look at the staircase when you go

We loved the seaside harbor of Naoussa with its fishing boats and marina. The 1200 ad Venetian fortress provides a breakwater to protect the harbor. It also provides scenic seaside views of the area.
