Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are far more glamorous beaches on Paros but this is a very convenient one if you are staying in Parikia, with a nice low-key beach bar, Tango Mar.
It’s the closest beach to the town and is 5 - 7 minutes walk from the port. A paved path leads alongside the beach and the road so you can walk the length of the beach which stretches along the Parikia bay.
One of the nice things about Livadia is that, unlike the big, popular beaches, it’s not overrun by sun-beds and umbrellas. Sun-bed sets are available (for very reasonable prices) but they do not take up the entire beach.
If (like us), you only want to stay for a short time, there is plenty of space to spread out your own towel. Livadia feels like a nice, low-key kind of local’s beach rather than a hyped-up, tourist beach.
One of our highlights was walking along Livadia to watch the sunset and then picking out one of the many restaurants across the road for dinner. Several of them, like Ephesus, also have tables on the sand. We had dinner here one night and it feels very special to be sitting, eating local food and drinking local wine alongside the gently lapping waves.

We went on a windy day it felt sheltered. Beds were free as long as you buy a drink from them. Sea was beautiful and clear.

A beautiful beach that is kept clean and calm. The water here is so clear you can see anything. My only advice is to watch out for sea urchins if you are going over rocks!

Livadia is a big beach stretching along the bay of Parikia - Paros main town. It runs all the way from the port to the left.
There're many restaurants and bars offering sunbeds, as well many free parts.

We spent a pleasant afternoon at this beach close to the port and the village. There are several places to rent lounges and umbrellas. We found a tavern that was good for a light lunch.

We passed the time watching the boats and enjoying the views of the hillsides.

Beautiful beach, unfortunately spoiled by noise of a beachclub. This noise dominates the whole bay, especially during weekends.
That such an abuse is tolerated by the authorities.

This is a town beach just close to the port but still the water is clear just with some seaweeds. The entrance to sea is not bad but it is mix of sand and stones so it is not super convenient. There are sunbeds to be rent for about 5 Euro, buy drinks in restaurant and get free beds or just lay down on the sand on your towel. From the beach you can relax and watch nice sunset show.
