Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The beach is small, and it can be crowded, but the environment is really beautiful. There is no data coverage, it is pretty remote, but there is a guy who can sell you Wifi package for a good price (1 hour = 2 euro. Half day = 3.5 euro). The road to get there is easy. Last 400 meters are not paved, but a regular car can make it without problems.

If you’re staying in Cala Gonone then save your petrol and your nerves and don’t bother with Cala Cortoe. It’s a nice beach but no better than CG.
If you like hairpin bends and fancy a change of scenery though, then go for it!

A lovely beach about 20 minutes from Cala Gonone via a pretty narrow and twisty mountain pass. The last 1km or so is unpaved. But well worth it when you get there.
Fine sandy beach, turquoise blue waters, lovely swimming.
All the facilities you need: food truck, ability to hire sun beds and umbrellas, toilettes (1€).

Beautiful, sandy beach with none of the "beach club" nonsense. Sand is not a given on Sardinian beaches and this one is a good one. All of the services you need are there. Need a car to get there and to not be afraid of cliff driving. Lovely place!

The best beach found so far as long as you don’t mind a bit of off roaring. Nice food van for drinks and panini. Nice rocks for snorkelling around. Really lovely day.

Sandy beach with clear blue water only a 20 min drive from Cala Gonone.
Even in early September we found plenty of parking and space on the beach.
Food truck provides food and drink options.
Good fish snorkeling at both ends of beach.

Lovely sandy beach, amazing sea. But in August it gets pretty crowded in the afternoon. There's also a little stand that sells all kinds of things.

This beach was perfect! bit busy for the end of June but not too crowded that you couldn't find a space to lay your towel. It was actually a pretty sandy beach which is hard to find in the Mediterranean. They did say that it was windy here a bit more than other beaches. While we didn't find it to be terribly windy physically (we thought) our umbrella did keep flipping inside out so they weren't lying. And the water was a beautiful clear light emerald color.
There was a small little food truck if you wanted to buy a snack or a drink. We brought along a little picnic. We didn't find too much fun sea life snorkeling but overall I sure wish I was laying on this beach right now! Close 20 min drive up and over the mountain from Cala Gonone.

I almost don’t want to write this review as this feels like a still relatively undiscovered and unspoilt Sardinian beach. One of a few with free parking, not absolutely rammed and it’s a total beauty.

Lovely clear water, fine sand and stunning cliffs surrounding the beach making it feel secluded. Great for kids as the water stays shallow for a long way and was very calm when we were there. There’s a nice rocky area for spotting fish too.

We initially really struggled to find it - our satnav tried to take us down a private driveway to the west of where the beach actually is. You need to drive up south of the beach and then you’ll see the signposts which take you down a dirt track.

The beach is beautiful, with some waves, sand, and has a nice little food truck to cater for those who don't bring their own food.
