Visitors love to stop by this statue of giant fruit and take a photo. It's pretty cool. Just a quick few photos and you are on your way. The only thing missing are some cherries!

We are on a big things tour so this was a must stop for us. It was nice to see the fruit was in good condition with good laybys to get the best photos.

The giant fruit designate the area as an orchard area. A stand out tourist attraction and in a well maintained area. great opportunity for a photo.

Sculpture? Well, that is the name given to this creation signifying Otago as the Fruit Basket of NZ. Good enough for a photo op.

The fruit last time I was in Cromwell were faded but now with a fresh coat of colour it looks brilliant. Can't miss the fruit

It’s all the same to me. I understand the desire to market your town but really the many fruit orchards along whatever route you enter town on, do this quite adequately. From a distance they look fairly authentic but I’m afraid don’t pass the up...More

A sometimes contraversial piece of our landscape. It's a love-hate relationship with the locals. But it's now well known. I don't mind it; but think grapes need to be added! A must stop for pics!
