A nice afternoon bike ride.

The best way to see Yushan is by bicycle. You can rent these all over the place in town, and the ride up is strenuous, but technically easy. The way down is mostly just... read more

If u don't have much time. Better skip this place from your planning. Replace to other short journey view. The long journey full of adventure and dangerous expecially raining. But we are luckily not facing this problem. Only the journey take lot time. Still can see the fall down tree. And so.e road still under construction to make it better.... More

The best way to see Yushan is by bicycle. You can rent these all over the place in town, and the ride up is strenuous, but technically easy. The way down is mostly just coasting, and the views up the top are pretty good. Allow yourself about 2-3 hours for the round trip. If visiting in winter like we did,... More

Going up wasn't too scary, allthough it didn't give Anu grat scenerys either. Se walked easily down, mut there were only few nice resting places, one of them was in old temple with a small ple E to shop snacks. Toilets were too smelly like they usually are. Se saw one bus going down, but with nice weather it was... More

Rent some of the city bikes (orange pick up and drop off all over the city), ride up the road (requires a bit of stramina), stop at the top, sit on a cliff, and take a look at the city, and then hop back on the bikes, and ride the brakes all the way down. Makes for a good evening... More

Only 1 public bus going up to the mountain. The frequency of the public bus is terrible. Going up is okay but going down is nightmare. Imagine 30 people rushing to get on to a ~20 seaters bus. The no is not too though BUT they don't queue. They dont even let the people to alight first.

The staff at the top of the hill although asked, did not let us know the cable car was closed, and watched without saying anything as I sent our driver down he hill to meet us, knowing full well the cable cage was not operating. The park itself is forgettable and nothing special, and the problem reaching my driver was... More
