We had a great week at Pearl Divers. We went out twice a day to different dive sites which had all be unique. You have wrecks, channels, caves, pinnecales and riffs. There aren´t so many corals due to the damages caused by the Tsunami. The boat rides are short the longest 30 minutes. The owner Andy is great to talk... More

Had an awesome time on the jet ski, wake boarding around. Staff are very friendly and there's a lot of different activities to do here. Definitely a good spot.

The DM Ranjith brought us to 2 dive sites including Rangoon wreck and Aluth Gala. The dive sites were nice, visibility was high. We found lots fishes and nudi. The DM was nice and informative. However, other staffs at the dive centre were not very helpful.

There are plenty of Wreck Dives in Galle. The visibility underwater for the first wreck dive(31m) is good and is very impressive. However, for the second dive(20-25m), the visibility turns a little bit worse. Before the dive start, Dive master (Ranjith) did a detailed briefing with us and during the dive he show us a lot of nudi, different kind... More

We joined 2 dives at Pearl divers in March. Our DM was Ranjita Sirinaga and he was very nice and helpful. We went to Rangoon Ship Wreck 1872 in the first dive with ~31m depth and Aluth Gala in the second dive with ~25m depth. It's quite happy to dive with pearl

I have dived with three centers in Unawatuna, two OK and the great Pearl Divers. A bigger operation than most (all?) others in Unawatuna, which gives them more flexibility in what they offer each diver. If you can choose your guide, I recommend Ranji. He's very competent under water, and very pleasant above.

4 of us went today. 3 of us did it for the first time. Helena and Nuwan were our instructors and they did a fabulous job of teaching and guiding us. We were completely at ease thanks to them. They even took us to see an old shipwreck. Would've been even more awesome if there were more fish. But overall... More
