While staying in Monteverde don’t miss the Sky Tram that will lead you up to the Continental Divide and to one of the highest mountains in the area.  Sky Tram is a guided tour where you can have the opportunity to observe the cloud forest outstanding biodiversity, the majestic Arenal Volcano and the Nicoya Gulf. The Sky Trek’s zip lines go from mountain to mountain, allowing you fly through a cable at speeds up to 40 miles per hour and heights of over 520 feet.  There are also 5 observation towers that surpass the cloud forest treetops, providing amazing panoramic views our company has a braking system that was superior to what I'd experienced in other places. The zip linesthemselvesare long and fast, when the clouds cleared, we were able to see the ocean, which was amazing. It is a really great experience.

We hiked slowly round the trails for about three hours and enjoyed being in the forest and the small waterfall. We went on a Sunday morning and were surprised how quiet it was, we had heard that the experience was diluted by the number of visitors. Entry is about £16, cheaper with student card . We saw a couple of... More

We can echo the reviews found on TA. While seemingly expensive, the experience is exhilarating. You feel very secure with the professional but fun loving staff. Highly recommend this experience.

We went on the Sky Walk in the early morning. The hanging bridges are fun, and we learned a lot. It is more about the plants than the animals. Although we saw birds and a 2 toed sloth, the focus was on plant ecology. Would not recommend it for kids looking to see animals. The adults in our group enjoyed... More

We had a fantastic day, starting with the Sky Walk - very knowledgable guide led us through the hanging bridges, spotting lots of animals and plants along the way. Then we took the Sky tram up high, followed by 8 zip lines down - brilliant. Teenagers loved it, especially the chance to do a bungee drop at the end!

I was very much looking forward to our trip on the Sky Tram, but must say it didn't live up to the expectations. Yes there's a good view, but driving around Monteverde gives you lots of great views. And the Sky Tram doesn't give you much more. We were there on a very clear day with moderate winds, it won't... More

We went all out and did the Sky Walk, Sky Tram, and Sky Trek package and thought the price was very fair for the amount of time we spent there and the level of activity. Our guide on the walking tour was incredibly knowledgeable and the walk was peaceful with great views (didn't see any animals other than birds/insects). The... More

We have been on other zip lines but these lines are faster and higher. Not for first timers or the faint of heart. At the end you can choose to bungie jump off the high platform or take the last short zip back to the base. Guides are well trained, safety conscious and constantly reminding everyone of the rules and... More

Old folks did the sky walk, while the youngsters went ziplining. The views were amazing and breathtaking. The drive to this place is amazing as well, but recommend a four wheel drive.

Our guide Heller was phenomenal. He gave us an incredible tour with knowledge that educated our 2 teenage kids better than any science course! Zip line was an extra bonus and again the staff were very carrying and professional! Another fantastic operation in Costa Rica!

First of all, this gets only 4 stars because we did the canopy walk at about 9 or 10 am, which means most of the animal activity had quietened down. If we had gone earlier in the morning, we'd have seen a lot more. We did see howler monkeys and a sloth, but not as many birds or snakes or... More
