Overview
More
Half way between the town of Santa Elena and the Santa Elena Preserve the Sky Walk is located: This complex use trails, suspension bridges for a more tranquil introduction to the ecology and natives of the forest canopy, constructed within the cloud forest. It allows a vision of the forest from a different perspective which starts with a walk on the ground taking you up to explore the treetops, a hardly discovered habitat, called the “canopy” with a naturalist guide. Also discover the night wildlife at our Sky Walk Night Tour.

We really enjoyed our walk through the Santa Elena Forest on the Sky bridges. You really do get a different perspective of the forest from so high up. There were so many different trees and plants, and the vegetation was lush. I do agree with...More

The walk was nice but short. Bridges are beautiful. Skywalk is quite boring it is just walking through forest, we did not see any animals, there were just trees, no other colour than green. The comparating with rainy forest, cloud forest is boring. I think...More

It is not so much about the animals, though we saw butterflies, birds, howler monkeys and a tarantula. And, of course, welcoming coati mundi at the entrance. It is more about different perspective of forest. There are several information boards at the name sake bridges...More

We had a great time walking the sky walk, the hanging bridges are a thrill. The vegation is beautiful. Reminded me of the scenes in Avetar the Movie. Absolutely a Must Do if you in the area.

This was a nice nature park with good paths and some great views especially from the 6 sky bridges. Some areas are a bit challenging but there are plenty of turn offs and shortcuts if you get tired.

This place (also known as Selvetura hanging bridges if you are getting confused by two different names popping up) is absolutely beautiful. We came here twice on our trip to Monteverde, first through a scheduled self-walk visit(Anywhere Costa Rica) where we were picked up by...More

If you aren't afraid of heights, and you don't want to zip line, this is a nice option. Breathtaking views, nice hike.
