The Würth Museum in Erstein, just south of Strasbourg, is marvellous. One of the several private foundations/museums in the triangle between France. Germany and Switzerland, it houses temporary exhibitions from the enormous collection of modern art by the German industrial magnate Würth. Good for nature art, but in a strange location industrial park location, accessible by car or the local train that makes all the stops.

The building is beautiful , very modern and great for showing art. I saw an exhibit with a mixture of art all with the theme of the forest. And you can go there by train from Strasbourg or Colmar and it is a 5 minutes walk from the station.
