Would recommend Pirate divers club. Did five dives, my daughters did 2 discovery dives each. We all loved it. The team were friendly, easy to socialise with, and really professional.
George was a great dive host Beni great with instruction and Thanos (I think) was also very helpful and informative. They all could not do enough. If I’m back in Kefalonia, Pirates Divers Club will definitely be on my list.

Myself and Gina, my partner were in Kefalonia on holiday, both of us are divers, spoke to George and he arranged dives for us. George and his dive team are great people very helpful and look after you well.
With all the equipment sorted it was off onto the RIB and away diving. Really enjoyed it and will defo be going back for more, we love the island and the people.

Three of us had a great day’s diving with George and Jeff. Good equipment and George is very professional (but great fun at the same time!). Dived walls and caverns on the first dive and the wreck of the F495 - a German landing craft sunk in 1943 - after that.
Great visibility and plenty to look at.
We had originally planned to dive elsewhere on the island later in the week, but re-booked to dive with George as soon as we landed as he was such a great guide.
Recommend 🙂

I went to Cephalonia with the intention of taking the PADI Advanced Open Water certification. I found Pirate Divers club on google with excelent reviews so i gave it a shot. I'm so thankful that i did. Not only did i pass the certification, i made two new friends, George the instructor/owner and his lovley girlfriend Eva.
Not only did George prove to be an excellent instructor but also a really great guy. You could immediatly tell that George had great knowledge on diving, the dive sites wich you got a ton of extra very interesting information but also life in general. So there where newer a dull moment. We dove in caverns, on a WW2 nazi landing ship, around the magical island of Deus (Zeus). I felt very safe and got a alot of tips and tricks that really will help me in future dives.
So this was more than a diving course, you felt included into their life and they are such lovley and caring people.
So i really recommend Pirate Divers Club to anyone that's want to dive with ALOT of extra experiences. I think it is impossible not to fall in love with Cephalonia thanks to these two :)
So thanks alot George and Eva for this awesome experience. I'll see you soon again!

I had a terrific day diving with George. It was later in the season and I was the only diver on that day - however rather than fobbing me off with "no diving today" or a local dive he took me on an adventure to the Christine Lomo wreck. We had the wreck to ourselves and I had a great time.
Unlike some Dive-Clubs which can be stand-offish or patronizing, George is incredibly welcoming and friendly - and he's passionate about running a good, safe dive club. I heard him telling someone that if he wanted more than a try-dive, he'd need to think about taking the courses - many operations would have just gone with it and taken the money. Well done George - keep up the good work!

Where do I even begin?
To start here's a little background. I am a Rescue Diver through PADI. I'm a college student that was studying abroad in Germany for the semester and was looking for something to do over mid-semester break. I was on a pretty tight budget. I actually closed my eyes and pointed at a map to see where I could go. My finger landed on Kefalonia, an island in Greece I had no idea existed.
I called George at the Diveshop about 2 weeks in advance and booked my flight. Next thing I know, I'm pulling up to the smallest "airport" I've ever seen. I was going to be on the island for 1 day and 2 nights.
The day I arrived I headed down to the dive shop to see exactly where it was. For future travelers: It is down in front of the hotel that is next to the tennis courts! I was greeted with some very cautious and friendly kittens that like to hang out around the area :)
I met George as he was coming in from his last dive of the day and was instantly greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. We chatted a little bit and I confirmed my dive for the next day and he reassured me we were all set to go.
The next morning came around and I was the first one at the shop. George was waiting there with his wife Eva and I was once again greeted with a smile! He informed me that a few others would be joining us on the dive and I have to say, I was glad they came along. The three men who showed up were George's past divers who had turned into lifelong friends. They were a family from England who consisted of a dive instructor, master diver, and rescue diver. Accompanying us was another open water diver who also was from England.
After all the introductions, George told us to suit up and we did so. After, we all helped get the equipment and boat loaded. I could tell right away this wasn't going to be a normal dive excursion. We were cracking jokes left and right. I have to be honest, being a college student traveling far away from home (US) it was sure nice not having to be all alone for one of your adventures. Eva was the kindest soul and also came along prepared to take pictures!
We headed out to the dive site which took about 10 minutes to reach by boat. On arrival, we were briefed on the dive-site and what areas we would be covering.
George made sure everyone had the equipment they needed, that the emergency kit was in an easily accessible place on the boat, and that all divers were prepared for the dive.
When we got in, the water was crystal clear. It's definitely a good idea to bring a camera with you, because this is going to be a dive experience you aren't going to want to forget. Our first dive lasted about an hour and when we resurfaced we decompressed we took some time to eat a few snacks and tell some more dive stories.
Our next dive consisted of us going into the mouth of a cavern and getting to see all of the sea life that was living in the walls. I saw everything from Amphoras, all the way to jellyfish! Eva also decided to hop in the water and snap some pictures of us inside the cavern!! This was one of the most beautiful dives I've ever experienced. On top of that, the people I was with made it even more memorable.
On our way back to shore George gave tons of history on the island. We arrived back at the dock and washed our equipment and called it a day.
On my last day on the island, I headed back to the dive shop because I didn't have much to do and wanted to share some of the videos I took of the dive with Eva. After we traded some photos, George and I went outside and actually had a 2-2.5 hour long conversation just talking about life and past diving experiences.
Tell me: where else on this planet would the owner of a dive shop come and sit outside with you and talk?? Absolute unforgettable experience.
Saying George and Eva are amazing is an understatement. If I could give this dive shop a fair rating it would be a 110% and a 11/10 stars.
George and Eva you made me the happiest diver and you can be sure you have made a life-long friend!! Also, you can rest-assured that I will recommend your shop to everyone I know that dives/visits Greece. I look forward to seeing you in the future thank you for being my family away from home :))
TL:DR;
-This was an all day two-tank open water dive. It is a good idea to bring some sunscreen, water, and a camera!
-The water at the dive sites is warm and is crystal clear
-Treat the owners with respect and if you're a parent, make sure you leave your child at home if they are young. The dive-staff is NOT a daycare.
-The Diveshop owners were absolutely incredible and knowledgable.

Just completed 3 days diving with George, his wife, & new assistants Jeff & Benny. All arrangements made prior to arrival. Everyone is very friendly & helpful with equipment & moving stuff onto the boat which is moored at the hotel jetty. Lots of dive sites to choose from with my favourite being Dias(Zeus) Island. Water & a lunch roll is provided by George’s wife who also takes pictures to share with divers & snorklers.
I had a great time again & would highly recommend George & his crew as a safe & friendly dive operation.

I'm a 'holiday diver' who has been diving at various places in the med since 2003. I can honestly say that Pirate Divers Club and its owner George provide the most relaxing, enjoyable and professional diving experience of anywhere I've been.
This year my son took his PADI Open Water course and loved every minute of it. He felt so comfortable and confident with everything that on completing his course he even went on a double-dive without needing dad to 'look after him' - I think that in itself speaks to how welcoming and safe George and his team make everyone who dives with them feel.

Really friendly, reassuring and experienced dive centre. It was our first ever scuba diving experience as a family (aged 17,19,22,58). We felt very safe and the session was very well taught. The youngest had a bit of a panic attack but George was amazing and by the end of the session she was loving it!
Can't recommend them enough! Thank you Paul, Jack and George for introducing us to the amazing scuba world!

The dive prices are on their website and tell you the cost for equipment hire also. I know they speak Greek and English, but unsure if they speak Spanish.
