A very scenic setting spent an enjoyable morning exploring the site. An added bonus for us was the abundance of birds and butterflies.

One of the archaeological sites in Greece which is quite unknown but which deserves to get as known as any other famous site in Greece... In order to appreciate the site, guidance is recomended.

This place is still under excavation, but what has so far been uncovered makes for an interesting display. There's a very good 3D model of the whole site housed in a building down by the beach; well worth visiting. We were here on an organised trip and could have done with more time to view the extensive ruins. A good... More

Well worth a visit, as part of the island tour it's worth an hour of your time. Shame there isn't more of it left standing, but you can get a good impression of how big it once was

One of the best antiquities in Samos and actually the only ancient temple which was dedicated to the Goddess of Hera. Only 1/3 of just one Column exists but plenty other ruins in the area. Tip : Just 2-3 more kilometers from there is the town of Heraion ( named after Hera ) a small but interesting tourist destination with... More
