The beauty of ruins in Ireland can be seen by visiting Trim Castle. The tour of the castle was very informative and the views from inside the castle were gorgeous.

The castle & tower tour is extremely interesting and fun. Lots to learn and I wasn't expecting it to be quite so big and well preserved. It is such a lovely location on the banks of the river with beautiful scenery all around, really magical.

Yes the tours are at regular times, you should go and google Trim Castle and find the seasonal information. The tour lasts about 45 minutes and is very infoprmative and amusing.
