Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Together with Cala dei Gabbiani, the most beautiful beach I have seen.
It is usually accompanied by this on the dinghy tours we have used.
We were here for a good hour accordingly.
It is definitely crowded but the game is worth it because it is beautiful, with contrasting effects between moving boulders and water, and a beach of small white pebbles and wonderful almost invisible shells.

Rented a boat in Cala Gonone and hit up all the beaches along the coast. Started at Goloritze and worked out way back as recommended by our boat rental staff member.
This beach was my personal favorite of the day. Don't get me wrong, all the other beaches are beautiful but Cala Biriola was unbelievable. We were the only ones here for about 2 hours, and it felt like it was our own personal beach. The snorkeling was great here as well, saw lots of variety in the aquatic life in and around the surrounding waters.
Goloritze was nice, but I believe it's a bit hyped up. I suggest you spend more time at Biriola you won't regret it.

A little gem to discover in Sardinia by boat, tickets from, Siniscola, Arbatax and Santa Maria Navarrese ports.
New in 2017, it is the first capped visitors beach on the island to avoid overcrowding and ruin its beauty, unfortunately not everyone respects nature but it has been reported that pigs have visited Sardinia and have trashed beaches all over the island, please respect nature to keep it protected by taking away your rubbish, there is no cleaning service in such secluded beaches, help protect them and enjoy it.

The beach would be gorgeous with its crystal clear water of thousands colors, those tiny round white rocks you nicely walk on and the beautiful rock arch as panorama. Unfortunately it is always so busy and the boats come directly into the beach leaving very unpleasant clouds of smelly foam and making a lot of noise not to talk about the danger of swimming since the beach is really small for those huge boats. The beach itself ranking would certainly be a 5/5 but I can't not consider all the other aspects. I suggest to come here during low season.

Again a beach with taste of Caribean. White stone, crystal clear water, accessible only on boat. In August little bit overcrowded. For sure worthy to visit.

cala biriola we vistited in early morning hours and it was realy wonderful. there were nearly no people arround and we had the beach nearly for us own. the small stoney beach is very small and slopes not so gently into the sea. this is the reason, because cala biriola is not realy a perfect place for families with small children. directly behind the beach the breathtaking and hundreds of meters high steepcoast begins and the vegetation is realy rare. only a little bit maccia is growing.
because there are no natural shadow zones on the beach it is absolutely neccessary to have a parasol, sun protection such as food and drinks in the beach luggage.
the water is crystalclaer and shows every type of blue and it was a pleasure to swim and splash there.
cala biriola is only reachable by boat from cala gonone and arbatax. the prices depend on the season, but 20 euro per person are realistic.
we enjoyed cala biriola very much. it was a highlight during our trip to the gulf of orosei.

This is a stunning beach. We came here as part of a boat tour. It really is a beautiful beach but unfortunately gets overcrowded with the vast number of boat trips. Definitely bring a parasol and plenty of water. All the beaches on this stretch of coastline are stunning.

Its just heavenly! Take a boat and spend an hour or so on Cala Biriola. The Cala Gonone coastline is amazing and this particular cove is often quiet - soft sandy beach with crystal clear water.

Beach located in a closed part of the coast. So when boats bring passengers to the beach, a lot of foam stays in the surface of the water due to the fuel.
I did not swim in this beach. It was also very crowded !

Very challenging and unmarked trekking, a route suitable only with shoes with a lot of grip and with important slopes. Arrived at the beach the complete delirium, boats by the dozens that touch the rocks, be careful to swim, the propellers of the boats are really dangerous, an invasion of tourists who unfortunately ruin a beautiful place but which is now 'disfigured by an uncontrolled traffic of unprepared people and prey to take pictures without the slightest control of the boats. I conclude by saying that September 30 was full of boats and tourists, really a naturalistic destruction. Don't go there and maybe the municipality will understand what it's doing in this wonderful land.
