Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The rides are old tired and rusty, i left once i saw the state of them. Not that many there for kids and the ones that are there need replacing.

Grandchildren really love this place.
A safe family atmosphere. Great value for money, no queuing for rides.
Friendly staff.

My children (aged 20 months and 7) had a great time on the rides, and at a really great price too. Food and drink outlets were very reasonable. Some of the rides and attractions are looking a little tired but they work and children loved them. The staff are all young people (mostly school leavers) and I’ve got to give credit where credit due they were all an absolute credit to the park. They interacted with the children (the big and small), were very polite and always helpful, even giving out high fives literally the whole ride delighting the children.

My daughter (Malcom) is a deeply conservative young lady and always wants to go to new places to witness “normal people “ at play.
I found this place when I was looking for a new babysitter and I knew Malcom would love it.
I decided to take her for her 21’st birthday treat and I would even let her come in my car!
Needless to say, it was raining and I didn’t pack my umbrella because I don’t have one.
We got 2 wristbands (one for Malcom and one for myself).
They fitted well on me but Malcom has unusually large arms and struggled to put it on. I wore both of them and let everyone know why.
The rides were quite nice (slow and sedate) and we smiled a lot.
I did however become insanely wet as the rain was coming down like cats and wolves.
My hair went very curly and Malcom’s hair looked really silly (I didn’t tell her).
The rain even managed to seep into my pants, leaving my private bits very itchy.
Malcom stole an umbrella from a little boy and used it to cover her face.
We went on every ride in the park and my favourite thing was the swings ,Malcom’s was the chip shop.
I tried my hardest to not loose Malcom but it couldn’t be helped.
After looking for her for over 3 minutes,I returned to my car and drove back to Newcastle.
Three weeks later Malcom made it back home and had a good laugh about what a silly billy she had been.
I told her that she is the 8’th best daughter in our family and that she will always make silly mistakes and decisions.
Very good park with a really nice family feel.

We visited for the first time yesterday and the children had a blast. We only made the last hour unfortunately but still went on a lot of rides and came home buzzing to go back.
The wristband cost £7 which is for unlimited rides unfortunately we didn’t get there until late so we only had a hour but very good value if you went all day.
The staff are friendly and willing to help the children off and on the rides.
When we went there was barely any queuing which was fab nothing worse than being stuck in ques for hours with young kids in hot sun.
The ride are small enough that our children can all get on by themselves which is great as it saved us lining up three times for each ride so they could all get a turn with a grown up.
My only little complaint is that the wrist band is only for one section of the park to access the rides on the other side you need to purchase another wristband for that side too, it wasn’t very clear so we had to ask, it would of been nice to have the option to pay a little more and have access to both sides or to just have one wristband for both sides it was hard explaining to the children they had to stick to one side of the park.

It would be a nice idea to perhaps do wristbands a little cheaper if it’s close to closing time however £7 is a steal compared to other places which charge £20 each band and the ques are much longer.

This park is perfect for smaller children all of ours are under 10 and it’s just the right side rides for them.

We can’t wait to go back next time, we shall get there much earlier and let them have a full day.

Bargain day out especially for bigger sized families as it’s not half as expensive as other places.

If your children are under 10, this park is great. There are lots of rides that you can go on with a £7 wristband and they have even added some rides in the past few months. There are a few pay extra rides if you wish to use like Go-Karts (£1.5). Hours of fun to be had, benches for picnics, and also food served at reasonable price (not really my style, but okay for a park). Paring next to park is £4.5 for all day or £2.5 for 3 hours. There is also a different amusement park next door to this one which we looked around, but at £10 for a wristband I thought Leisure Island offered more rides for the price.

Brilliant place to take our 4 yr old granddaughter. Only £7 for unlimited rides, I reckon she went on a good 40 times or more as we stayed all day.
The staff even though they are young, are so friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough to help our granddaughter if she needed it.
I also have to add, the toilets are impeccable. You look at them and think oh no portaloos but they were extremely clean.

Been taking my granddaughter here for 4 years. Would highly recommend such good value. OK gone up £2 to £7 but still good value. All the staff are young I find them friendly and helpful. It is s lovely, place to take children. With a lovely beach just yards away When we eat at the fair the food drinks and ice creams are good value. You don’t feel you are being ripped off. Just wish some healthier options there
