I took my brownies and they had a great time especially in the section where there is the old schoolhouse, chapel, shop etc. They liked the model railway and the all the exhibits on show. The staff were really good with the girls.

Good place to visit with kids of primary school age, decent cafe, very interesting exhibits, and some canal boats, especially on a weekend.

First time at Portland Basin, bit hard to find (needs more signage!). Well displayed museum, for all ages, and very good food in the cafe. It won't be our last visit!
