We had a quick drink while at Bridgnorth station waiting for our train to Bewdley. It's a compact pub with limited seating and a cluttered but homely feel. The place is packed with all sorts of train and railway memorabilia. A good range of drinks,and...More

Like a trip back in time, spending a couple of hours in the Railwaymans Arms at Bridgnorth station. There was a good buzz in this pub on the platform ,with tourists and train enthusiasts shoulder to shoulder, The drinks and the service is excellent in...More

Perfect spot for a pint at Bridgnorth Station. Great choice of ales, friendly staff and a place you can just take in the atmosphere and peruse all the memorabilia !

A great old fashioned bar just next to the steam railway tracks. Beer in perfect condition. Just how a pub should be. Took me back to my childhood. And in these hard times for pubs the Railway was packed - breweries take note.

Set on the platform of the Severn Valley Railway station at Bridgnorth, decorated in a traditional style. A little dark inside but a great selection of local ales. Friendly staff. A great start to the SVR pub crawl.

The Railwaysmans Arms may well be the finest pub in England. Real ales and only the most obscure and excellent lagers- truly a brand name free zone- with friendly bar staff, no fruit machines or TVs or piped music. Peace and quiet to read and...More

Conveniently situated on platform 1 at the northern extremity of the superb SVR, the RA perfectly bookends the various pubs along the line, commencing with the excellent King & Castle at Kidderminster station. Not as large as the K&C but just as welcoming, the pub...More

Lovely little bar on Bridgnorth station. Good selection of beers and lots of railway memorabellia on the walls. Not a lot of room but seemed a lot of locals use it as well as those travelling on Severn valley Railway like ourselves.

i the bar is very much a traditional pub, cold snacks - crisps etc plus pork pies. During train operating hours you can get hot food in the café 1 minute walk from the pub
