Nice beach to visit, especially not in peak season when it is quiet. It's a ten minute walk from the train station. There are plenty of places around to get a meal afterwards also.

Very clean, great views of Edi. You can even whale watch from here for humpbacks. Walkign distance from play parks and the town so food and drinks are a stones throw away.

Gorgeous beach - one of the best to walk along. You have to leave the beach and go on the path in places but it is great.

The water is very clear and the sand was clean. Seats right beside it, free parking nearby, toilets and play area in easy walking distance. Close to the High Street so plenty of choices for something to eat.

Always mobbed when weather is good, plenty parks to play at, water feature where kids can play and then the beach. Great place to sit at the benches or go for a paddle. Lovely views out across to Edinburgh too

This beach was such a pleasure to walk on. So clean and free from debris. Disabled friendly too, which is a big bonus. Ramps give a smooth access onto the beach, and the promenade was very even, allowing wheelchair access. Friendly and informative Lifeguards on...More
