Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The drive up the steep, tightly winding, narrow road, took us to a small parking area. From there you're a short walk into the well looked after cemetery. We found it very peaceful here, on the higher ground above Dingwall.

A great place for a walk. Interesting with stunning views.

Such a shame the council haven’t appreciated the potential of having the monument open.

We walked through here for some quiet time before our drive. It was beautiful, but I wouldn't class it as a tourist attraction.

Perched on the hill above Dingwall it's an interesting spot with a huge tower monument. Could do with an information board and what a wonderful tourist opportunity missed to have the tower open to go up as there would be truly amazing views....shame

We used to have picnics up there in the good weather - certainly nobody to disturb us. Best viewed with the Hector MacDonald Monument.

This lovely walk starts alongside the man-made canal with glimpses of the Cromery Forth through the tree line. As you reach the end of the peninsula the full view of the Forth reveals itself; stunning.
You walk back along the estuary with lovely wide views of the whole valley. Crossing the road into town, it’s uphill sharply to pass the McDonald Clan monument and get an even better view of the Forth and Dingwall.
