This place is massive! Very quiet and great for wildlife, but we thought it would have been improved by having a small café and toilets. The composting toilet at Loch Garten was ok if desperate, but the ammonia smell was overpowering! We often go to...More

If you enjoy walking with excellent views this is an excellent place to be. Good for bird watching and the occasional red squirrel. The Loch Garten Ospreys are also there in the spring and summer. Worth a detour if you are in the area.
