Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had read the online and email detail. I was still really unsure what to expect. Dispute the wet weather, it was a great and enlightening experience. I could just be and exist in a small woodland with peer support and expert guidance. No pressure or rushing about. I am also the proud owner of the spoon I whittled. My journey to recovery is ongoing but Woodland Warriors was a great place to start it.

The relaxed and welcoming environment created by Nick and his team was superb. They made everything feel like there was no pressure leaving us all free to enjoy and benefit from the beautiful woodland.
Everything from the food, the setting, the level of instruction and teaching, was all at a fantastic standard. Thank you all for a great weekend!

I went to refresh my bushcraft skills, re-wild my mind and support the programme in whatever way I could.
The little strip of woodland offers a complete back-to-basics, out-of-the-way, green and quiet location to reconnect with nature and calm one's galloping mind.
Nick and his team delivers tranquillity, campfire conversation, life learning, habitat interaction, healthy food options, wood whittling, fire-side relaxing, and under-the-stars sleeping!
A really enjoyable disconnect from digital and reconnect to natural outdoor living. I also had one hell of a dream overnight...I haven't dreamt in ages!!

I attended one of the Woodland Warrior weekends. It was relaxing, peaceful, informative and wholesome - great food, company, instructors and banter. I’d highly recommend HVB to anyone.

Great to spend two days in the forest and a night under the stars. Very calming and informative experience learning new skills and finding out more about nature. From one pot cooking and herbal brews, to wood carving and knife sharpening skills.

My friend and I recently attended and had a great time. Lots of banter among ex military, police and other emergency services. First night spent under the stars since leaving the military 13 years ago. Great to reconnect, reach out and rewire the mind. Well recommended 👌👊😊

A truely inspirational idea realised by Nick who is beyond Humble, friendly and highly knowledgeable. Personally, the day could not have been better. The days activities were really relaxed, informative and motivational. I would highly recommend a visit to Nick and team. Give yourself permission, and give it a go. You deserve it and you won't be disappointed. Thank you Nick for all that you do. You are a gentleman.

hi nick what you do is great but is The Woodland Warrior Programme and Hidden Valley Bushcraft just for armed forces personnel, veterans and members of the emergency services only or can anyone take part.

As far as I'm aware the HVB woodland programmes/activities are open to all.
The WWP is for AF personnel, Vets, and ES.
