When you think of whetherspoons you think "cheap and cheerful" Which it is.....but this spacious whetherspoons has a lovely atmosphere and does the best eggs benedict I have ever tasted. Friendly staff an of course, reasonably priced.

Locally this place has always had more quality than the other pubs in the chain. It sells a consistently good pint of real ale from national and local breweries. The food is usually of a high standard and the staff are very friendly and professional....More

In John Masefield today for an hour on my laptop, met by friendly staff, spacious pub, lots of comfortable chairs, long bar, well heated, a great place to visit.
