Worth a visit, a symbol of the distrust between France and Germany in the near past. Let’s hope it stays in the past.

First thing I wish we knew is that the whole tour takes at least 3 hours! We were traveling this day and missed half of the tour, so plan for a half day here. This place is remarkably well preserved, a great lesson in history,...More

I must say I visited this site in the scope of a visit to Northern France devoted to war sites, so this is not the only fort of the Maginot line I visited. There is a basic short movie, a tour by train in the...More

The train tour through the ammunition storage area is fabulous and we had an English guide. We did not walk to the soldiers barracks. For the first time really understood the Ligne Maginot, made it come alive.
