The house is a museum, we bought a bundle ticket that covers all the attractions in Arbanasi and Veliko Turnovo. Very big, nicely decorated, many artifacts from the day-today life from the past.

There is an authentic middle ages house in a village called Arbanasi (only 4 km from Veliko Tarnovo). So it is worth a visit if you are allready there. There are some information boards inside the house, but I recommend you to pay a tourist...More

Really interesting little museum showing the interior of a historic merchants house including the birthing room. This is not only where the women gave birth but where they stayed without any contact with the outside world for a month to help the baby build up...More

House is well preserved with all the displays of daily activities & life. Showing what it was like day to day for a wealthy family. Nice architecture.

this ancient rich merchant house is absolutely fascinating. so much detail with good interpretive signs in english. furnished as it was then. a real must do . lovely garden too

Well maintained house of a wealthy person. Lots of kitchen utensils in kitchen. Check out the "bathrooms." Each room has a page in English describing its use,etc., other languages as well.
