We had a fabulous day with Tino touring BRAC in the army jeep.
It was the perfect combination of beauty and history, really getting to know BRAC and its culture.
Tino was fabulous- his knowledge and enthusiasm made the day. The trip had something for everyone, even our 10 year old!

We decided to opt for this, rather than a day exploring lagoons and caves by boat. Tino was a fantastic host with a great sense of humour. Very knowledgeable about the island and its history. The various places visited were well chosen and their hosts very informative and receptive. Excellent food and wines/liqueurs from the olive oil museum as well as from the vineyard where we stopped for a late lunch. A bit of rough tracking to take you to the highest point on Brac, as well as over, to gaze on the monastery from the other side of the valley. These are some of the highlights of the tour, Best to find out the rest yourself.
Suffice to say,the four of us out that day had a fantastic day out and went home with some great memories and a lot more knowledge about the island of Brac thanks to Tino.

Earlier reviews are accurate in what to experience on this day trip. Tino was a warm, funny guide with a genuine passion for his home and giving the best of it to those who choose to spend the day with him. We got all we were hoping for in this excursion and more. Really enjoyed our grilled fish lunch under the vined pergola on the hillside. Drink all of the strong liqueurs you're offered, to loosen you up for the windy bumpy road to the highest peak of Brac and you'll be rewarded with an awesome view. Many thanks Tino of a very memorable day!

We spent a wonderful day on this tour, late in the season so there were only 4 of us on the trip. The guide was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and informative. The tour took in the highlights of the island, provided us with fascinating background information, and took us to places we would not otherwise have seen. The food was amazing, both from the olive oil museum and from the vineyard where we stopped for lunch.
This should be on everyone's must-do list.

Booked this excursion for myself and my wife on line and was not disappointed. From the moment Tino, our guide, picked us up the trip was superb. We are from Scotland and our other two passengers were from Croatia, but that didn't stop Tino explaining everything in both languages.
The stop off at the olive oil museum was very interesting and also gave us the chance to sample the local olive oil, figs and bread. We then had a local history lesson about the village the museum is in which was very informative.
We then jumped back in our 1977 jeep, which has been kept in such good condition, and carried on our way.
Off road driving was next on the agenda as we sped through olive tree plantations on our way to Bol to spend 1 and a half hours on the famous beach. We snorkeled in the crystal clear water and sunbathed before heading up to a local home for grilled fish and salad washed down with very strong liqueurs. Fabulous setting which you would never have found if you weren't on this trip.
Back into the jeep again for a very , and I mean very, fast drive up to the top of the island. The old war jeep certainly knew how to cope with the challenges that Tino put in its way. Not a journey for normal cars!!!!
The view from the top was amazing. Looked down on the beach where we had been earlier and Tino took time out to explain everything else we could see.
Great journey back to Supetar via Milna, taking in all the local villages Brac has to offer.
All in all a fabulous day out, which was made by the passion that Tino has for his own country. Learnt so much about the history of Croatia and also had a great time doing things that you wouldn't do if you didn't do this trip.
Would thoroughly recommend. Take swimwear for the beach stop off and hang on tight during the off road driving. Fabulous day. Thanks again Tino.

Neil and Laura ( Glasgow, not Edinburgh). Tino will understand!!!

We booked this as an introduction to Brac for our first day and so pleased we did. There was just my husband and I but Tino made us feel so welcome and relaxed. It’s clear he loves his island. He took us to all parts of the island in his Pinzgauer which coped with rough terrain but still enabling us to have a comfortable journey. (It really made his day when we met another one coming towards us on a track!)We tried olive based tapas at the olive oil museum and sampled delicious local produce for lunch. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

A totally unique experience, made extra special by Tino our driver and guide for the day. He ensured we all had a memorable day, showing us hidden gems that other tourists cannot reach. Nothing was too much trouble, including a personal request. The best small tour ever.

Tino, our guide, met us at the ferry and informed us two of us and one other person, would be the tour group for the day. Tino took us to hidden, out of the way spots that we could not have found on our own – and some only accessible via jeep: an art studio in the hills, an olive farm, a limestone quarry, an intimate lunch at a gorgeous family owned vineyard overlooking the sea (with locally caught fish, and freshly grown vegetables for salad, and desert, along with wine and hand brewed spirits), a stop at the Zlatni Rat Beach (Golden Horn) near Bol and went for a swim. We also stopped in the town of Bol (and were invited into a local party at a winery/bar). A great adventure: please note, jeep ride was great, sometimes bumpy through olive fields, this is not for those looking for a fancy trip, or luxury. Highly recommended.

A great tour with our Guide Tino. Not exactly as advertised - did not go to a tavern but made up for this by a stunning trip to a secluded bay to swim and eat. Magical.

My wife and I decided very last minute to book the Off Road Adventure tour and we are so glad we did! Communication pre-trip was very prompt and professional. Our guide, Tino, met us at the ferry and informed us we were the only ones on the tour. That tour is relatively new for them and he suggested a few things that were not on the itinerary. He took us to an art gallery, stone quarry and showed us all sorts of cool stuff all over the island. The best part was the stop for lunch at the owners' house in a secluded cove with the most beautiful water and scenery. They provided us with an endless supply of drinks and the most wonderful charcuterie platter. We were able to truly relax, swim, layout and enjoy. We are so glad we made the last minute decision to book this excursion. It's not cheap but is 100% worth it!
