We spent a couple of hours wandering around this stunning little hilltop town. If Domfront were situated in the U.K. It would be swarming with tourist on a Sunday in July. It was possible to take pictures without a single person in sight. The medieval...More

A wonderful church with surprisingly ornate features inside and a few historic sites however the town itself is quite deserted with very few shops as most have been abandoned and closed down. Would highly recommend the cake shop near the church for wonderful pastries and...More

Lovely walk through old medieval streets. They are quite steep in places but definitely worth the climb to enjoy the amazing views from the chateau. You can actually drive up to the tourist office and park in the square in front of the town hall...More

With fields of Normandy cows in idyllic setting and half timbered houses , a lovely area of France . Plenty of restaurants and places to visit . You can relax while the children play and enjoy the fresh air. Pretty well kept villages

Normandy and the area has managed to remain unspoilt. Sunday shopping, if that's what you want not possible. Sunday is for the family. Eat in a cafe, or next to a lake with a picnic, Sunday is Family time in this area, thankfully!

The south west corner of orne in Normandy is often overlooked as a visitor destination as people hurtle past on their way to the landing beaches or Le Mont St. Michel. With a little time to spare this area will capture your heart. From the...More

Don’t miss this experience of a lifetime tour. We’d been to Normandy and the landing beaches before on a tour but this time were traveling with 2 other couples who had not. We only had one day and wanted to see as much as possible....More
