Don't miss visiting this Dom with its stunning round center room, all in white. Never seen the like in my life!

Very impressive. St. Blasien is undoubtedly the imposing buildings of the former Benedictine abbey with its impressive dome, the so-called "Schwarzwalddom"("Black Forest Dome”).The rotunda shines in white marble, the pews and the organ at the end of the monastic choir forming a contrast in colour.

Worth a visit. A huge, gorgeous white marble dome. Unlike any other I've seen in Germany. Wish we had been there for the Christmas market, but even on an average Monday, it was impressive.

We visited the Dom shortly during our stay in the village. Very nice atmosphere, even on a adventevening during "Weihnachtsmarkt" on the outside with all the hutts and and people.

The Dom St. Blasien was a glorious surprise when we entered through the doors. The interior was impressive with it's light and airy atmosphere and magnificent dome. Right in the center of town and with in easy walking distance of lovely little shops and cafe's.
