One of the highest hurch cupolas in Europe

Impressive. The interior make up has resulted in an immaculate, almost completely white environment, punctuated by a few paintings on the ceiling.

Worth a visit. A huge, gorgeous white marble dome. Unlike any other I've seen in Germany. Wish we had been there for the Christmas market, but even on an average Monday, it was impressive.

We visited the Dom shortly during our stay in the village. Very nice atmosphere, even on a adventevening during "Weihnachtsmarkt" on the outside with all the hutts and and people.

The Dom St. Blasien was a glorious surprise when we entered through the doors. The interior was impressive with it's light and airy atmosphere and magnificent dome. Right in the center of town and with in easy walking distance of lovely little shops and cafe's.

English people tend to expect their churches to be dark - that's because most old churches had their paint and plaster removed during the reformation. The reformation never happened in Baden, and this is a stunning light filled interior with a magnificent ceiling painting in the dome. Admire the amazing marbling on the columns (they are actually painted wood, but... More

The little town of Sankt Blasien surprises with the extraordinary Dom. Impressive from the outside, the interior is a glorious confection of white architecture. There is also a splendid organ which is often central to many of the excellent musical events that take place here.

The Dom of St. Blasien is impressive from the outside, but quite unexpected from the inside. The outside is beautiful, but still quite calm, but on the inside it's all white and very beautiful. Good for a stop. The village of St. Blasien is not that big, but nice to walk through.

The Dome in St. Blasien is definitely worth a stop! Even if St. Blasien was not part of the original travel plan. We visited the Dome while on a stay at the Titisee for the weekend, it is just a short drive away. The outside of the Dome already has a big presence, but the inside was truly spectacular and... This is a must if visiting St. Blasien. Irrespective of who or what you follow, this is the most wonderful structure and just so peaceful. The Dome itself is incredible and no matter how impressive the building is on the outside, once inside its spectacular.

A must see in this beautiful little town. The building is a work of art. The town itself is lovely. We were there in February, so it was pleasantly very quiet and parking was not a problem. Studios.b is a little jewelry shop not far from the cafe and across the street from the Dom which does some very interesting... More
