Was recommended this amazing beach by a couple who have lived on the island for 5 years. Very well hidden away down some extremely suspect roads this beautiful beach with its extended river was well worth the drive. Lovely sandy beach which continues into the clear sea. The little push and pull raft which takes you across the river is a lovely addition.

Great beach- really quiet, only a few beds so you have to get there early- great for swimming. Very peaceful. Watch out for the Preying mantis- showed its face a couple of times - it is bright green and likes to live in the branches/greenery used for sun shades! The taverna is great, good food, a nice place to get cool out of the sun, very rustic. Would definitely recommend.

We returned to Vatsa bay several times during our holiday as it was such a great place to be. The beach was uncrowded and family friendly and safe. The beach taverns which had a sand floor served excellent reasonably priced food and staff were very efficient and helpful. Children of all ages loved operating the floating bridge used to reach a free car park and changing kiosk.
