Perfect beach with fine white sand and very turquoise water. A bit of a trek through the pine forest to get there, but well worth it. Coffee, ice cream and sandwiches can be bought at the small bar at the beach.

Visited Baia del Turchi in June 2018 as we wanted a beach walk. We didn't have to pay for parking as, although we parked on the car park, fees were only payable from 15 June so prior to that it was nothing. Beautifully clear water...More

Very beautiful beach with Clean and blue Water. Perfect but we had to pay for parking and to use the umbrella and chairs. But the beautiful place worth the price.

We went to Baia dei Turchi. We parked the car at around 1 km from there (maybe less). The way to go to the beach was dirty. Maybe because it is not the high season, so not cleaned. Then the beach was ok ish. Nothing...More

Sand and rock the traditional beach in Sale to. Water was cold but quiet and peaceful. You can swim as long you want.

We came here for a few hours on our last morning in town. Was very crowded by 11am. The beach is pretty small so gets crowded quickly. There are a mix of beach clubs and open areas if you don't want to rent chairs.

There are several beaches in the same area with different aspects. All are pretty small and surrounded by trees and bushes. The water is crystal clear and beaches are clean. There is a parking and a small café where you can buy drinks and paninis....More

We wanted to go to a proper beach...the beaches in Otranto are tiny and not inviting. We drove north of Otranto, far enough we thought to get away from the crowds. We found the beach signposted, parked in the very large half-empty car park and...More

The spot is beautiful, clear waters, nice sand, beautiful surroundings, but we went in August and it was really overcrowded, people were fighting for space just to put one towel down.I would recommend it but definitely not in August.

I walked from the very beginning of Baia dei Turchi beach to Alimini (which I preferred) a couple of weeks ago. It took me about 60-90 minutes one way. It wasn't too hot so the walk was very pleasant and I dipped a couple of... More
