We walked here from our hotel every day it's very pretty, and quiet, a real must to visit you see the rugged coastline and overlooks three beautiful beaches, with a coastal path linking up villages close by. There is parking and "Lord's bar,"

This beautiful outcropping and church, sits astride the two lovely beaches and makes a great focal point for photographs and sea shots. We as many have took some lovely photos, but one of the highlights of our holiday was to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine - nestled on the wall enjoying the tranquility and beauty.

Absolutely the most beautiful place in the world. The little chapel is 800 years old and while we were there had a few weddings. The views were amazing and I have never seen sunsets like it. Stunning xx

A special part of the Algarve steeped in history, park you car and take the brief walk down to the little chapel at the end of the promitary. A wonderful place for many a wedding celebration.

Straight out of casting central - an idyllic little chapel set on a promontory overlooking the sea. Fantastic sunsets from here, a photographer's delight! We saw six wedding blessings during our two weeks in the area. The church itself is not open to the public, unfortunately. Worth a trip to see the views!

You can't enter the chapel, but you can see the inside through a glass door. The chapel is situated on a rock which is 30 m above sea. Lovely views from over here!

This is in a beautiful spot and worth a visit. The chapel is tiny and was not open but you could look in through the windows. The coastline here is also beautiful so it is a photographer's dream.

Interesting little chapel at the end of a walkway although not open to the public candles can be lit in a special cabinet. Excellent views of both bays and beyond. Very popular location for weddings.

The chapel was built, so I'm told, by the wives of the local fishermen so they could pray for their safe return. There is a good coastal walk from Armacao de Pera to this small building that will take about one hour each way. Below the chapel to the east is a small sandy cove with a beach café. The... More

You can get there either by stairs on the right side, or by tunnel from the other beach, which was really cool
