... and THAT really is a high compliment! Be very careful as you drive to this beach, because a few sections of the road are so narrow two cars cannot pass by each other - but it's so worth it! Praia de Albandeira is an idyllic small beach with no stones at all in the water (very rare in the Algarve) and an amazingly beautiful watercolor... not to forget the rock tunnel leading to the famous Arco de Albandeira. Hired a car and spent two days at this beautiful small beach. Got a little crowded but great for swimming and the scenery is magnificent. Small restaurant/bar and plenty of parking up the road.

Must visit, clear water. Great little beach, one way road to get there, small restaurant. The cliffs are just amazing and lots of caves and books in the cliffs to explore by water.
