Worth the walk up to the Castillo. Some nice views from the area across the bay and down into the marina. The Castill is not open so can only be viewed from outside.

An original and old building representing the history of the area and need to protect the island from pirates etc. Walk around it if you are there but no need to make a special trip.

This is only a short walk from the Marina Rubicon. Visit the castille and check out the local geology. You can see the different layers of settlement in the cliff faces, mixing between black and red as each volcanic eruption has settled.
