Quite an easy mountain to climb using the well worn path. Take some water and wear full shoes would be my advice.

Great opportunity to walk around a volcano crater and it's free. Sadly the southern slopes have been sold off for villas and the space between them is used to dump refuse so the approaches are rubbish literally and metophorically. Nice once you get to the...More

The approach is not very scenic, but once inside the crater, it is quite magical. It's also fun to see all the words laid out in rocks over the years. Note that it can get pretty windy up there along one side of the crater.

Beautiful scenery and views from the top of Playa Blanca and over to Logos Island Fuertuventura. You can walk down into volcano bowl and we were lucky enough to see the Kestrel Hawk fly right by us..was fab.

Drove to the base and walked to the top. A bit of a rough path so good shoes not flop flops. A steepish walk and took about 20 minutes. Nice views of the island and also across to Fuertaventura.

Take the proper path up or climb a steep ascent, your choice. A popular tourist trip just across the road from the hotel.
