After visiting Teguise, we were tempted to drive to the top of to see if the view was good, and it was. It seems to be very popular with local visitors and while we didn't enter the castle, we did walk around the rim of...More

We stopped here while passing as we seen the castle on the hill from miles away and thought it would be worth a visit. The views of the island from the top is fantastic. €3 entry to the castle which I think is good value....More

Stopped at this attraction on way through Teguise out of interest. Not well advertised as to what it entails or cost of entry until you're already inside. Not very well maitened either.

If you have a young child who gets excited by pirates this is a must. It's also very cheap to get in and interesting. Nice display of 'treasures' and world pirate history and the view from the top is hard to beat.

We could see the castle on the hill whenever we drove past, so decided to take a look when it was open. It's only quite small, but the view of the island was wonderful, and I really recommend the exhibition about piracy and the island....More

We have been to Lanzarote 23 times before and almost every time have gone to the Sunday market at Teguise. Every time we 'threatened' to go up to the castle on the hill but somehow never did. What a mistake! This time I went with...More

Just outside the town of Teguise and perched on a hilltop this is well worth visiting if you're in the area. The entrance fee was a very reasonable 3 euros and the castle inside has been made into a pirates museum ,quite interesting as it...More

Hi, there is a toilet - a very clean one. Opposite side of the entrance. No Cafe, but there is a patisserie on the main road prior to turning up the hill to the Castle, on your right hand side.
