Enchanted Garden Arcen
Oct 2020 • Couples
This review is related to the Enchanted Garden’s lack of following any Corona protocol. I was there Monday October 19th and it was the equivalent to a superspreader event. Crowds of people packed together at various locations in the park did not follow any protocol whatsoever.

Fun Day trip
Sep 2020 • Family
This place has very old well maintained Castle building and surrounded by beautiful gardens with varieties like rose garden, Italian, border, animal scriptures, etc. Dedicated kids play area and golf play area for all ages included in entry fee of 17.5 Euro.

I believe cleaning is required at water logged places before in becomes worst.

They have few restaurants open now with good varieties of food. Also there are plenty of places where you can eat while watching scenic views.

Overall nice place for a day outing with family.

Surprised and impressed
Jul 2020
We did not have high expectations and thought the gardens would stop after the rose garden. How wrong we were. When we reached the furthest part, and played adventure golf to see the rock garden, we had to rush back because of closing time.
We need and want to go back to finish the spectacular golf course and the remainder of the gardens.
This may indeed be the best thing to do in Dutch Limburg.

Large castlegardens, maintenance could be better
Jul 2019
This castle is surrounded by different theme gardens. It is al large park. The castle is not very interesting. The gardens are nice to strolll in but here and there not that well maintained. There are also some animals and a playgarden for children. The entrance fee of € 17,50 ,in our opinion, is to high.

Very nice Gardens and buildings
May 2019
Very nice gardens and old Castel buildings. The Rosarium is one of the best rose gardens in the Netherlands, It's not really a place for children I think but there is a minigolf course and a children’s play area

Fantastic Gardens
Aug 2019
Make sure you put a good pair of walking shoes on, as you are going to do a lot of walking! Every step is worth it though. The gardens have imagination and there is a wide variety from around the world which I will let you discover. Wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge from Reception, but you will have to book them in advance. This was handy as my Father cannot walk far.

Amazing gardens
Aug 2019 • Couples
64acres of gardens, some formal, others less so but all in all an amazing experience. Worth a lengthy drive and enjoyed the gardens more than RHS Wisley. Not a vast amount for children - exploring, a couple of playgrounds and mini-golf - but somewhere I intend to visit again.

Get your walking shoes on!
Aug 2019 • Family
Kasteeltuinen has vast, beautiful gardens to explore. There are rose gardens, tropical gardens, Japanese gardens, bamboo, Italian and the list goes on. All are delicately manicured and well kept. There is a huge crazy golf course that is included in the entrance fee. Lots of lakes and waterfalls too. We stayed about 3 hours and didn't see everything because the site is massive.

We visited the house too. The interior was disappointing.

We also fed some goats, chickens and Koi Carp.

This is a place to visit on a dry day as 90 percent is outside.

Kids go free in July and August, which is always a bonus! You can get cheaper tickets sometimes on Social Deal or the ANWB members' site.

I plan to return to see the parts that I did not get to see.
