If you visit Sinop You must visit here as well. This is historical prison and near the seaside. You can see famous inmate Sabahattin Ali's prison cell.

Many writers spent life in this prison. Close your eyes and repeat their poems. You can listen the waves hitting to the walls.

...While visiting this place you should really turn on your imagination to get how was the prison life been here 1200th to 1990th. It would be right to mention. that it is not top and must visit destination.

It must be seen when you visit Sinop. You will tremble when you llearn how the prisoners, small children lived under very difficult conditions. You will also see tha ward the famous poet Sabahattin Ali had stayed gecause of political reasons and wrote many poems...More

We really enjoyed our visit to the prison in Sinop. It was very interesting to see the place as if it had just stopped operating a few months before. Highly recommended site.
