this is the part of cultural tourism in historical tao-klarjeti (Georgia former part). Now it belongs to turkey. the church is not in a good condition because of its age and careless attitude either.

The church is almost ruined, all whitewashed inside. It is alright if you have nothing better to do in the area. if you take the local bus from Artvin it drops you off at the bottom of the steep road that leads to Hammamli. You...More
