Visited on crisp winter day at end of November. Parking is easy either on the road for Shoreham harbour or across the main coast road. The two little ones love the playground, which has recently been refurbished, and has a decent range of equipment. Cafe is open every day, and is surprisingly good with a licensed part and a separate... More

Excellent facilities for younger children where they can play on playground items and paddle in an open air pool. All changing facilities available as well as excellent food for all types. Gluten free dairy free and lovely staff.

We just moved to the area and have spent most days here. The paddling pool is great (especially early / later on as can get v busy) the ice cream is nice and the kids love the mini golf / trampolines / bouncy castle! The brothers that run the mini golf etc. are really lovely and it is all very... More

Bring the kids here all of the time for paddling pool, pirate ship, play park and ice creams at The Big Beach Cafe. Best to come prepared (camping chair, sun cream and parasol for the paddling pool). Apart from that, you are good to go!

Really good little spot with playground, water splash park and a big lagoon lake. Decent little cafe next to it with good atmosphere by the beach.

The kids loved the splash pool despite it being incredibly busy. The downside was the cleanliness of the surrounding tables and picnic areas. Loads of litter and really sticky and unpleasant. Toilets were filthy with no toilet roll at all. Shame as the pool and park etc are great.

Have been many times. Can be really draughty when doors left open. Slow service, but good location. Needs TLC.

Hove Lagoon is my new favourite place in Hove to go with the children. Since Norman Cook (aka Fat Boy Slim) bought the cafe the whole area seems uplifted. His Big Beach Cafe and Bar are excellent, with amazing staff and great food (even for the veggies among us). There is so much for the children to do - trampolines,... More

Honestly couldn't recommend it enough! We easily spent a day here. Kids enjoyed the boats, mini golf, inflatables and pedalos (which are all very reasonably priced and the time limits not strict either!). The playground is also great; big and with a wide range of different things for all ages. We had lunch with us so didn't order food from... More
