Not your average Caribbean beach maybe, but it's a long lovely beach fringed by a mix of seagrape trees and sand vines, with water that is most often lovely blue. There is a fairly strong current but it is also fairly shallow - when you swim here, you feel relaxed and massaged afterward!

Best beach to have a bbq in the southern part of then island. Its close to shopping centers in the town of Vieux Fort. Lots of shade from the trees which is convenient for setting up a grill and for parking your vehicle.

We had previously been to this beach when we stayed at the Coconut Bay Resort in 2014. We loved the beach so much that we used to walk here every day as it was quiet and very few people ever seemed to go here. We have just returned to the island again and stayed at the St James Club but... More

We walked to this beach from our hotel, Coconut Bay Resort. You have to leave hotel property to do so and walk on the side of the road for about 5 minutes. Only a few locals were at the beach at the time, probably because a tropical storm had just passed a few days before and the water was not... More

You cannot enjoy the beach on the southern end of the island. The water is filled with 'turtle grass' and seaweed. Makes swimming very creepy. Must go to the northern end of the island to enjoy the water.

Only a 10 minute walk from Coconut Beach Resort, sheltered calm turquoise waters, lovely clean beach. Highly recommended.

Sandy beaches were a rare find on our trip, and this one was beautiful. It was very quiet, and seemed like a place visited mostly by locals. Good stop for a first/last swim on your way to/from the airport, or a nice beach to visit if you're staying at Coconut Bay resort and want to wander a little further. Nice... More

Really nice beach and able to take good walks. Gentle surf. You will find mostly locals (both families and couples).

Sandy Beach really did complete our trip. We stayed at Coconut Bay Resort and their beach was full of seaweed or turtle grass as they call it. Not one of my family would get in the water there. The resort was great so I don't want to give the wrong impression about it however the beach was not the best.... More

This is the real st Lucia. .. My favourite chilling spot on the island. Great for families. . Two fantastic locally run bars with music and great food. .great atmosphere you will not be bombarded with people trying to sell you trinkets and souvenirs. . The beach has a great security level. . My ultimate favourite place. .😊😊😊
