This beach is beautiful. This is our second year in St. Lucia and we stay at the beach. If you are a windsport enthusiast, it is a must visit. My favorite spot in St. Lucia.

At weekends and holidays the area in front of the beach which has shade with trees becomes filled with cars and locals bringing their music and families to enjoy the beach. Still the beach is relatively empty. The swimming is good, the sand is great.

We went the Maria Island and stopped by Sandy Beach. It was nicer than the sand on our beach because there was not much seaweed. There are shade from trees too!

We spent a few hours here before our flight - well worth going - the beach is long and the onshore winds are refreshing! It seems to be the sot for kiteboarding and have rental equipment if you feel so inclined! There are a few...More

All inclusive delight. Normally I'm very wary of all inclusive but this place is another level. Food top drawer so much choice for all. Great great great staff.

At 2pm we walked from Vieux Fort, using the main road (Micoud Hwy), that curves and is close to the beach. Under two Coconut Palms was a park bench and a short path leading to the beach. Sitting on the bench were two athletic looking...More

Lovely beach area looking onto pidgeon island. The colour of the sea in a ral lovely blue, must have something to do with the clear blue skies. This beach looked to be safe and had some big hotels facing onto it. The area also seemed...More

One of our favorite beaches on the island! After visiting many hotspot beaches, my children (8, 11) could not get enough of Sandy Beach. Even the seaweed was not much of a bother. Being on the Atlantic, we loved the surf, the sandy floor (absent...More

What the hell has happened to this beach. I have just left this place and I'm so disappointed. This beach was one of the best beaches on the island and if it was looked after would have got top marks. The amount of seaweed that...More

There are much closer beaches to access. Pigeon Island is one. There is a great national park there with hiking opportunities. Chair rental available. Rodney Bay is another option, although on cruise ship days, it's just... More

Yes, it's walkable. It's much better than the beach at coconut bay! Very clean, and a very nice walk where u will see the locals, as well as the horses on the beach!
