Located on the Channel Highway, this museum covers an amazing array. The historic photography buffs will really enjoy as well as history and general interest visitors.

Called in for a brief look and were so amazed firstly by the friendly greetings from the knowledgeable volunteers and then by the amazing collection, mostly donated by locals, that we went back twice and still didn't see everything! Allow plenty of time to view...More

Super museum for history buffs. An astounding collection covering shipping, farming, fishing, schooling, industry, housing etc. Something to interest all, young and old. No entry fee but a suggested donation of $6 per adult. You really need over an hour to take in the volume...More

Small in size but very well organised with a wide range of artifacts. Volunteer guides were very helpful and informative. This is definitely worth a vist.

Was pleasantly surprised by this volunteer-run local history museum. Heaps to see and the volunteers were really friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the exhibits and the volunteers clearly are passionate about the museum.

Really interesting, quaint museum. Lots of interesting detail and stories about day to day life in the area. Friendly volunteers and a nice little coffee shop with lots of homemade goodies too! Definitely worth the drive.
