I went to the Changzhou Museum with a friend from the city. The building felt new, and the exhibits were all very interesting. There were all sorts of different artifacts from all different periods of China. It was really interesting seeing Changzhou's development from its ancient past to its present. A quick hour or two would really help give an... More

The Changzhou Museum is a world class museum which covers the development of civilisation in the Changzhou region. Exhibits are well presented with text in both Mandarin and English to a lesser extent. It was enlightening to see the respect and appreciated demonstrated towards the artisans, artists, poets and authors of the local region. Do not feel disappointed if you... More

Free entry! This is a well-kept museum and has interesting exhibits. The Natural History museum part has some great displays and most signs have English too. It shouldn't take you more than 2 hours, if that.

The exhibits were nice but they were mostly in Chinese. Also I couldn't really tell if taking photos were allowed because they didn't really have "no photos" signs in strategic places like at the entrance. I did see signs placed near exhibits but it wasn't clear if it was just for THAT exhibit or if it was for the entire... More
