Great place to introduce the history of the area. Different sections are explained in different rooms. Mind your head, the doorways are very low.

A great little museum run by volunteers with some fascinating displays. If you want £££££ displays and interactive this and that then it won't be for you (but why would you be in Glencoe anyway?). If you want a friendly museum with local interest then look no further.

I used to be a volunteer at the Museum so I got to see everything which was in the Museum. Lots of things with local History, and my favourite things to see used to be the wonderful dresses. The Museum itself is very picturesque from the outside having a beautiful thatched roof. Inside there is an abundance of things to... More

Interesting little museum with artefacts from the past. The must do part of this museum is the harrowing tale of the massacre that took place at Glencoe. I still think about that now.

The museum is just in the middle of the main street. it is two cottages united with a number of outbuildings and has some lovely artefacts - dresses, equipment etc and some information about the Clearances and the massacre. a very friendly welcome and an admission of £3 for adults makes this a worthwhile venture.

Full of interesting bits of information and exhibits. Very reasonably priced. We arrived just as they were opening one morning and Heather M. was on... More

Fantastic little museum, reasonably priced. It's full of exhibitions and items relating to the Highland way of life generally and mire specifically to Glencoe. Well worth a visit for all the history.

While we were exploring Glencoe Village we stopped into the Folk museum to get out of the rain. The museum is located in a thatched cottage on the main street in Glencoe Village. There are several rooms and a few outbuildings filled with interesting objects and information boards. There are exhibits on the local area including the Balluchurish Quarry and... More
