My friend and I took our teenage boys for a week. What an amazing experience, every minute was an adventure. The Island is very rural and has more animals than people, I called it the "Galapagos of the Caribbean", wild donkeys, cows, iguanas, roosters, hermit...More

Salt Cay offers a different Caribbean experience than most people are used to. There are no resorts, only cottages and apartments for rent, and only a couple of restaurants and shops on this small island. It is a tight-knit community of Belongers and expats. People...More

Our visit to Salt Cay began aboard a six-seat plane flying that gave us a bird's eye view of this little, triangular island. The airport is a simple landing strip and a small, bright yellow building. Our luggage was piled onto golf carts and we...More

This was my third trip to Salt Cay over 18 years. I've previously gone for hopeful whale watching on day trips and wanted more than a few hours 'spotting' – our 2 weeks stay didn’t disappoint! But it wasn't just the numerous magnificent humpback whale...More

Secluded island. Snorkeling and diving are what most people come for. Many winter residents. Come and enjoy a laidback vacation or winter.

Salt Cay was absolutely perfect for our anniversary. There were zero distractions from one another making it a perfect getaway/adventure for couples. This is not a party island. This is a very quiet, safe, back-to-nature place where you can reconnect with yourself and others in...More

If you want to escape to the most beautiful, undeveloped place on earth, this just might be it. It's certainly the most accessible of this kind--4-hr flight from US/CA plus 1/2-hr jumper. It's also surprisingly affordable, depending on your approach. It's a stunning, private island...More

Salt Cay is a quiet corner with fascinating history, and stunning waters. It is a tiny 2.5 square mile island, largely taken up by abandoned salt ponds. The beaches are stunning.
